انتهيت مؤخرا من فرمتة محرك الأقراص الصلبة من خلال ويندوز اكس بي طبعا كنت احمق حيث احتفظت بنسخة احتياطية لاغلب الملفات الموجودة ولكن للاسف نسي مجلد هام حجمه حوالي 6 جيجا يحتوي على ملفات شخصية هامة لي ولاسرتي فهل يوجد من يدلني على برنامج جيد يمككني من استعادة هذه الملفات بشكل طبيعي او على مقبول
I recently formatted my hard drive thru the widows xp media center edition installation disk and i quick formatted it. Well i being an idiot i backed up everythign but a folder on my desktop full of about 6 gigs of all my pics from the past 6 years. I need these back so bad it contains do many precious memories. Does anyone know of any harddrive recovery program that could recover that file and its contents,

I used some of these tools (from the link above) to restore data that has not been overwritten yet.

You can also take a ghost image of the drive, on a spare hard drive, and then use forensics to recover the images. I recommend Autopsy. Check the link below.

sorry, you're pretty much SOL. When you format a drive its writes over any data on the disk with 1's and 0's, then you install the OS which will write over the 1's and 0's with its data. The more you use the drive the more it writes over any remaining 1's and 0's.

In order to attempted to recover any data, you will need to 1) stop using your computer... just surfing the internet and write over data. 2) take your hard drive out and put it in another computer as a secondary drive. 3) run some recovery software (http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/system/fwdatarecovery.html is a good place to start). 4) try to recover anything that is remaining.

In all honesty, you probably wont get much if you get anything at all There are professionals who do this, but it costs a butt load of money that an average user will not pay. Most of their clients are corporations who have the spare pocket change.
